Who Am I
My professional career began in Children’s Services as a Case Manager.
I was responsible for assuring that children in the foster care system received placement, care, and the resources needed while in facilities and foster homes. That also included managing parents and guardians in their handling of children whether it was counseling, providing resources inclusive of classes. My educational background which is in counseling propelled me to shift my career to Probation and Parole where I had an opportunity to be certified in several areas. Some of those areas included individual and group counseling for Domestic Violence, Anger Management, Men Violent Against Women, and Motivational Interviewing. In addition to those areas, my background is Family Counseling, Pre and Post Marital Counseling, and Grief Counseling. With all that experience, I retired from state government and organized the 501C3 agency Save Our Sons and Daughters Inc. which was the beginning of my venture into entrepreneurship. My elevation to director of an agency where I had to manage over 50 employees prepared me with the leadership skills that would be essential to this new venture.
Certified Coach
Understanding the changing trend where coaching became such an influential player in the support industry, I became certified as a coach to add that tool to what I was already utilizing. It has become a skill that I love doing and it allows clients tap into their strengths and find fulfillment in their work and personal lives. As a certified coach, I work with a variety of clients from the professional community to those seeking career changes, as well as those looking to improve personal wellbeing. Each person will have unique needs and goals therefore my approach is tailored to each person.
I am a very passionate Coach
I know that it isn't always easy to make changes. I know firsthand the steps and the will it takes to make the shift. Believe me, I've been there. But there are three areas that I believe will be essential in making the shift. The first is self- awareness. Who are you, who do you want to become, and where do you want to go. Secondly, we must avoid procrastination. Finding excuses for not doing something will certainly keep you locked into your now. And lastly, time management skills. Taking on new ventures will require adjustments in what already exists. From a job, family, extracurricular activities, personal space, etc., managing time is vital. I speak at conferences and events on a plethora of subjects, and I've taught those three areas to groups and individuals. Let me help you achieve your goals for the shift.

1-Month Package: Curious about coaching but not yet ready to commit to a longer plan? This package is for you. Package includes four 1hour one-on-one virtual coaching sessions, tools to support personalized goal attainment, and email/text support between sessions.

3-Month Package: For those looking to make real change, this package is for you. We will examine your priorities and values, set goals that align with your values, and develop an action plan to achieve those goals. Real change happens once you make yourself a priority. Package includes eight 50-minute one-on-one coaching sessions, tools to support personalized goal attainment, and email/text support between sessions.

FYI: After you go through a coaching program, you may want occasional follow-up coaching to keep you aligned with your goals, new habits, and thought patterns. Follow-up coaching is available for those who have completed the 3-month program for $100 per session.
Empower Hour
You may not be ready to commit to a coaching package, and I understand. That’s why we created Empower Hour. Join me for a one-time 60-minute meeting where we will work together to empower you to work through a specific barrier or block in your life. Empower Hour works best for those with a specific challenge, or those looking for help setting goals. By the end of our session, you will have specific goals and action items to help you break through your barrier.
